Tradeweld E312L-16 is a rutile coated stainless electrode.
Easy to weld in all positions (except vertical down).
The highly alloyed electrode is extremely resistant to hot
cracking even when diluted with carbon, austenitic & high
alloys of steel.
Weld deposits gives excellent resistance to
corrosion and oxidation and good scaling resistance up
to 1000?C (1850?F).
Tradeweld E312L-16 is recommended
for the repair and maintenance of all steels, particularly
those of unknown compositions, joining dissimilar steels
such as stainless steel to carbon steels and repairing
Dies & Tool steels. Use a buffer layer prior
to hard surfacing.
