Torq-set is a cruciform screw drive used in torque-sensitive applications. The
Torq-set head is similar in appearance to a Phillips drive in that it has a cross
with 4 arms. In Torq-set however, the lines are offset from each other, so they
do not align to form intersecting slots across the top of the head.
Because of this, a regular Phillips or flat-blade screwdriver will not fit the head. It is mostly used in military and aerospace applications.

Features
Based on the Standard Bit, the other bits are optimized by means of various hardening
and coating methods. It provides a consistent hardness of ~700HV and features a
highly accurate fit in the screw.
The Classic Hexagon Ball End Bit is hardened using a special procedure. The tough version resulting from this method meets the demands across all areas of industry and craft.
