Push stick
Application:
A push stick is a safety device that should always accompany stationary woodworking machines. The device is used when it is necessary to move a workpiece close to the cutting blade in a router table, bandsaw, tablesaw or jointer (planer).
The push stick keeps your hands away from the cutting blades. It also helps to produce smoother cuts.
